About ACIE
ACIE collects offers for the same product from the marketplaces it is authorised to read, resolves them onto one product record, and ranks them. A listing on two marketplaces under two different titles is one product here, with the offers side by side.
How the ranking is decided
Ranking is deterministic. An offer's position comes from total cost including shipping, whether it can actually be bought right now, how quickly it arrives, the seller's rating and how recently we observed the price. The same inputs always produce the same order, and every ranked offer carries the factors that produced its position, so you can disagree with the result on the evidence rather than on trust.
What is not an input: how much ACIE earns. Commission rates are held in a part of the system the ranker cannot read. Paid placements exist, are sold separately, are labelled where they appear, and never enter the ordering.
What we do not claim
- Prices and availability are observations, not quotes. Each one is shown with its age.
- An offer we cannot confirm as purchasable is excluded from the ranking, not hidden.
- Coverage is limited to the marketplaces this deployment is authorised to read.
